A commitment to spending wisely and well.
The Children’s Center of Hamden devotes its available resources to the direct care of the children and youth we serve. As a testament to that commitment, general and administrative expenses are less than 10% of total Agency expenses. Less than 2% of total Agency expenditures are used for fundraising.

Operational funding is provided by the Department of Children and Families (DCF), tuition from local school systems, State Medicaid fees-for-services, State and Federal grants, managed care/health insurance, contributions from the parent corporation ‘The Children’s Center,’ as well as donations from individuals, businesses and foundations.
