Our Extended Day Treatment Program continues to provide services during this challenging time by offering sessions through remote video conferencing for our clients in need! We’re here to support you while making sure you can stay home & safe. The program is available for youth who are struggling in multiple areas of their lives- such as with family, in their community and/or school. Their struggles may look like aggression, trouble sleeping, outbursts, frustration, sadness, etc., and all of the youth have a behavioral health diagnosis. Once we’re able to service youth again in person, our program meets afterschool during the school year, and then becomes a summer program when school ends, servicing youth ages 5-18. Youth are divided by age and participate in groups that focus on skill building, therapeutic enrichment and various therapy topics. Individual and family therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluations, outreach to homes and schools are all included. If you would like to make a referral please contact our clinical coordinator, Katelyn Morency, (203) 248-2116, Ext. 241 or . Our referral form is available on our website. ... See MoreSee Less

The Recovery Team is a community-based service that can work alongside treatment to help fill any gaps. The team provides outreach, substance use specific case-management, referrals, and wrap around services to teens who are 13-19 years old. It also hosts Teen SMART Recovery meetings on Thursday’s at 5:00 p.m. and offers an Alternative Peer Group with free sober social events on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. • The Alternative Peer Group, also known as “Peace & Chill Crew”, got its unique name from the teenagers who attend. Peace & Chill Crew is a substance free space for teenagers to be teenagers. There is a fun schedule of events planned for each week. Currently, because of the circumstances, these fun events are being held virtually over Zoom. • For more information about, The Recovery Team, Peace & Chill Crew, or how to attend Teen SMART Recovery meetings, contact Deirdra Colavolpe at (475) 227-5834! ...
