Provides outpatient substance abuse treatment to teenagers who are referred by parents, schools, probation officers, etc. Individual, family and group therapies are available and the frequency for participation in each is prescribed following an evaluation.
Parenting Classes are offered in Hamden and Meriden for parents of difficult adolescents. The Parent Project Curriculum is used and addresses family conflict, school performance, alcohol/drug use, problems with peers, and limit setting. Tuition is free due to scholarship funding.
